Adjustable Center Multi-Drill with Optional Key-Type Chucks

Most AutoDrill multiple spindle drill heads come stock with collet style spindles. AutoDrill uses the industry standard ER style collet spindles. When close C-C spacing is not critical, standard key-type chucks can be added to a head.

Customers who need to change their tooling size often prefer key-type chucks because the changeover between drills is much faster. We can offer either permanently loaded (Jacobs taper) or temporary mount key-type chucks. The temporary mount allows the customer to go back to ER style chucks and collets if desired. We can offer these options on both our fixed pattern drill heads and the adjustable models.
